Throwback to 2015

2015 had been a great year to me. 

Went thru many ups and downs but God is indeed faithful and He really blessed me with many things.

January

-Sem break, worked in the kindergarten as usual, get experience and some income.hee

February

-It's been a year in UM! How time flies. Nuuuuu. Still remembered the first time I joined PKV, such a quiet and shy girl.

March

-our first Postgraduate CG was formed, combined with Education CG, so it's known as PostgradEdu CG. Really stepped out from my comfort zone, being a CG leader, feeling nervous every week. We also had our first CG outing combined with EnBina CG at Taman Botani, KL.

April

-Easter practices, yea, I was in the dance team =D

May

-Easter production (FOUND) was held for 2 days. Glad that one of my classmate came =D. Had Golden Circle activity (visit the Old Folks Home) which I was the director, and many things happened before the real day, but all glory given to God for everything =)

June

-completed my last paper for coursework and we had our first ever PostgradEdu CG dinner, and they surprised both me and Naomi for our birthday. I am so blessed to have each and every one of them in my CG, they're my precious gems =). Spent the one week study break in Seremban & Malacca, sent Joyce off coz she will be back to Miri for good after her final paper =(

July

-Church camp at Camerons. Then came back and worked in J-kids during the sem break.

August

-nothing much happened coz I was back in hometown, still working as usual.

September

-moved into University Tower (UT) with 5 other peeps, 4 from PKV and 1 is May Jee's friend. So glad to have our so call "own" house, where we can fellowship and bond together. Invited few people over for makan sess during the public hols. I was also quite down also this month coz my supervisor ended his contract with UM, so I was supervisor-less.

October

-MSK (Malam Suai Kenal), getting to know the juniors. omo!! JUNIORSS.haha. Then we had Convo sess, all these peeps leaving me one by one, but some of them are coming back for postgrad!! YAY!

November

-Thank God for providing me with a SV, really thank God for her. I was seriously down for the 5-6 weeks after the new sem started, coz many other lecturers already had many supervisees. Besides, we had T.H.E Camp!! I was also in the committee, which was a great experience, in charged of registration. I had a great time with them during the camp, also to get to know more about people =)

December

-Christmas Party, was involved in Carolling and was in charged for Food as well.haha multitasking like usual. Spent my Christmas in Seremban, eat eat eat non-stop. Attended Watchnight Service on the last day of 2015.

Wait what??!! 

Time flies....... Another year has gone.

So many memories

So many things happened.

But I pray that I will continue to grow more in Him and also to desire for more of Him each and every day.

I pray that I will be spiritually disciplined as well.

Christmas 2015

How did I spent my Christmas?

24th-Christmas Eve

Brought de juniors out for lunch at MV with those who didn't go back,had Korean cuisine and after that we go on our own ways, like who wanna go shop can go, but for me, nehh, toooo many people dy, super crowded, so I chose to balik after lunch.

 Normal dinner with Oli and Bryan then window shopping for some chocolates.LOL

25th-Christmas Day

Went down to Seremban with Kah Yee using the KTM

SOOOOOOO many people in the train coz everyone was going to MidValley.

Arrived in Naomi's house around 12, had lunch and then we chill.

Bryan reached around 6pm.

At night, we had normal dinner with some of the visitors from Naom's church.

I had soo much food. Feeling fat now.LOL

At night, we sent Bryan over to Tim's house and kebetulan they were making tang yuan, so the mother asked us all to join.haha

I was asked to be the taster, whether it is enough sweet or not.LOL

26th -Boxing Day

We had a feast at Naom's place for lunch coz UM peeps came down.haha

Mutton curry, chicken curry, thosai, salad, orange chicken, brownies, etc

After that, we had cray cray sess, played Reaction, fellowship, etc.

Evening we played basketball at the court outside and we had thosai for dinner.

Sent Parti to Tim's house to pack up coz he followed Yvonne back to UM.

27th-Last Sunday of 2015

~The tale of the tree people~

We went for May Jee's production at her church in FGA.

Some of us were random, like last min we wanted to go.haha

The production was soooo good! from the costumes, to the cast and crews, choirs, deco, etc

Went for lunch and to NSK for groceries

Dinner date with Charissa which was super random, but I had a great time with her.

That sums up my Christmas 2015, and ohh, what happened to all my work? LOL gone with the wind

Christmas Dinner & Tang Yuan

Invited a few peeps who are still in UM during the weekend.

Wanted to invite more but not enough transport, lol, so only invited few people over (Christy, Vanessa, Bryan, Vivian, Parti, Tim, Charissa, Clement)

Cooked a few dishes, since most of them are from East Malaysia and i know they miss homecooked food.

Winter Solstice is also approaching, so I cooked tangyuan for them as well.

Some of them was their first time trying.

It was my first time too! LOL to make it la. =D

After dinner, we played some games and riddles (which are so mind blown, and I had to take 2 weeks to figure it out the answer!), had some nice music played by pro guitarist.LOL

Last CG

We had our last CG for this sem last Wednesday, and Jack shared (gonna be his last sem here) 

I am really blessed to have this bunch of peeps in my CG.

I pray that all of you will continue to shine for Him wherever you guys are =D

PKV Christmas Party 2015

We had our Christmas Party on the 10th of Dec at IPS with the theme "Love Came Down"

Started the party with few ice breaking games, followed by dinner and the rest of the programmes which are skit. carolling as well as the sharing of testimony.

Went for 2nd round of Desert at Le Bread SS2, wanted to try their famous salted egg yolk croissant but have to wait quite long. So we tried their cakes, tart and coffee.

Last Weekend

Twas a hectic week last week.huhu

Did my thesis stuffs and submitted before Friday.

Had camp post-mortem meeting on Friday at Mailbox Cafe, Section 17.

Went out for a movie, Mocking Jay part 2 with Jennice, Hui Shan, Clement, Vivian, Naomi, Jack and Aaron. We booked the movie at 11.10pm and it ended around 1.30am. 

5 months of not watching any movies.LOL

Saturday, went to Paradigm Mall with 2 of my housemates, to get Christmas gifts.

And yeay, all wrapped! =) Ready to be given out, i know it's still early but, there's no more place in my cupboards to keep it.LOL

Came back home, Naomi said she haven't had her dinner, so I accompanied her, then we also wanted to give back Tim's guitar, so jio-ed them out as well.

Yeap it was kinda random.lol, we met Yvonne & Sheldon there, and David was at Tim's place, so yea everyone joined us.haha

It was a tiring week, but I had a good time with everyone. =)

Thankful. Grateful

Really wanna thank God for providing me with a Supervisor to guide me in my thesis journey.

For the first 5 weeks after starting the sem, I was soooo demotivated and down when I had no supervisor. 

Went to uni,hunt for the lecturers' that I wanted, but most of them couldn't say Yes because they already had too many students. I was so down that time

Looking back, I asked God, "why me? why did my previous SV left me hanging like that"

I felt so lost, there was no one to guide me, and I was so scared that I couldn't complete my studies on time.

Fears crept in for many weeks, but God wanted me to look to him and fear Him not other things.

I came across the name of a Korean lecturer when I was browsing through the web. It came across my mind whether Should I or Should I not ask her to be my SV. Because I am going to do something based on our education system, I'm afraid if our thoughts would be different. 

Made the decision to just email her few days later asking if she could become my supervisor and like few hours later, she replied!!

Met up with her and told her about my research interest, etc etc.....

She was so friendly! and without any delay, she agreed to become my SV.

At that time, I was thanking and praising God.

It made my day.

He always has a plan for me. 

It's just me who loves to have lotsa worries and negative thoughts. 

God had been there tru my ups and downs.

For the past few weeks till now, she's been guiding me a lot on my thesis.

Really....really wanna give all glory to Him.

God answers prayer, but we have to be patient in waiting.

Looking forward for more exciting stuffs ahead of me =)

T.H.E Camp 2015 (Part 4)

T.H.E Camp 2015 (Part 3)

 Day 3 of T.H.E Camp.

Woke up at 5.45am everyday, enjoying the natural breeze and coldness. so nice.

Took a bath and went down to open the hall and have my own worship with God.

So nice to just stroll around when everyone is still tucked under their blanket =D

As usual, we had our devotion time before breakfast and after that was the session as well as sharing time.

After the session, we had lunch together as usual.

We had a short while to prepare for Camp special at night.

Then we had Games sessions like the day before.

This was my station, at the Amphitheater together with Ginnie.

They have to kick the shuttlecock to a specific level and after that throw a slipper and knock down a bottle at a specific level.

From there, they will have to answer questions from charades, physical activities, short skit to biblical questions.

After the games, we all went back to bathe and headed to canteen for dinner.

It was CAMP SPECIAL at night!

After the camp special, we headed to canteen for supper before we had camp fire.

Whisky the dog was my peneman setia to canteen everyday.

The ground was wet coz it was raining in the evening, but thank God that we were able to set up the fire =D

Everyone really enjoyed the camp fire.

Some of us were having heart to hear conversations with people.

I had my own heart to heart conversations too =)

Coz seldom really talked about stuffs, that day was the day that I really get to know more about people.
