Praticum

Yesterday was the first day of my practicum..

I am a trainee teacher at secondary school. 

STILL CANT BELIEVE IT....=)

~ME~

Got SMKS9 in Shah Alam, one of the elite schools in that area.

And guess what??

I was given Form 4 classes...

WHOA....hahah thats kinda scaryyy...

Students are bigger than me, taller than me, and they even speak goooddddd like seriously goooddd English..

I know there's gonna be lotsa challenges but I'll take everything positively..

Families and church members are praying the best for me and supporting me..Thanks so much..

~Me, Adib n Diba~

Got the same session as Adib while Diba is in the afternoon session, so i followed Adib everyday to school..

Still havent started our lesson, most probably next week..

And yea, got my timetable today..

I got FOUR form 4 classes, from the best class to the lower proficiency students..

Itz gonna be a great great great challenge.

Students, please treat me well ok this 3 months...only for 3 months..=)

visited SKS9 after school (my previous practicum place during diploma), itz just less than 1 km away from SMKS9..

I really missed that school so much..

The teachers were shocked to see me.. They were so glad to see me, I felt so 'terharu', as they still remembered me..They were expecting me to stay longer there but I can't coz got things to be done.

Seriously missing working with them.

I was very friendly and smiley when I was there previously, and yea people says if you always wear a smile on your face, no matter how long you had left that particular place, they will still remember you.

And until today, I will always smile when I meet anyone..

Hoped that my 3 months of practicum will go on smoothly..

Finally, after waiting for months to get this two things..

and queuing up to get it is another matter..

The queue to get this was crazy man...

Came at 8am and until 6.30pm, the crowd was still so many..

Yeahhh!! I can't wait to go shopping for booksss!!=P

CNY celebration at MSU

 They have various kinds of competitions on the first day..

I entered the all the competition..

Ok, i do sucks in calligraphy writing..

I'm not from a chinese school, so I am a banana..

I know many people always like to ask me "why you don't know mandarin?"

i was like....so?? haha

I studied in SK n SMK throughout my 11 years of schooling.

I can only understand certain spoken words, at least i can speak but not that gempak..

they have other competitions like:

-blowing plum flower

-angpow making

-orange eating competition

-chopstick challenge

For the orange competition, we had to do it with a partner.

I did it with one of the guy from PAC club coz I had no partner at that time..gahhh...

managed to finished it for 29 seconds..haha

the big celebration was held at Performing Arts Theatre today..

They had lion dance, performances,and prize giving ceremony

And I won a prize..2nd place for chopstick challenge..

LOL...still can't believvveee it..haha

They visited my house during the CNY every year..

They are one of the best students in my dad's school..those senior students..

 This year, one of them brought their baby..

And he is sooo cuteeee.....

I cuddled him and he was so comfy till he slept in my arms..awwwwww

Chinese New Year 2013 Part 2

Like every other years, we would go to church on the first day of CNY

We will always attend Parit Jawa Presbyterian Church where my late grandfather used to be the Pastor.

We all worshiped and thanked God for the many great things that He hath provided us for the whole of 2012.

God has been bringing such great blessings into my life.

Our family is still taking care of the church until now..

Since my late granny passed away, my mum's side, they were the ones who managed the church.

It is our place of gathering every Sunday where we meet up, have dinner together and more..=)

Chinese New Year 2013 Part 1

Wishing all my Chinese friends a belated Happy Chinese New Year...=)

Went back to Malacca and Muar during the CNY, as usual..

Guess what??

This is the first time I got a CNY card from MSU!!

Throughout my 5 years of studies for both diploma and degree, this is the first time MSU actually posted to me a CNY card..

Anyway, thank you for the card!=)

Had reunion dinner at Malacca, my granny's house..

Fine dining

Had fine dining for the first time in MSU..

Went with one of de SRC after our MQA meeting..

Both of us was literally starving..hahah

So, we made a decision to eat at the fine dining...=)

Overall, the food was good.

Delicious n tasty..

The theme was known as "Table D'Hote"

As usual, they have appetizer which is "Croque Madame", a kind of bread..

I chose Pan Fried Red Snapper with Mushroom Risotto & Sauteed vegetables served with Veloute Emulsion...

And the last dessert was Victoria Sandwish served with mix fruit..

And it was my first time entering MQA meeting too..

Well, you wouldnt know how nervous I am...

I was literally shaking and it was also freezing.

The Launching of School of Education & Social Sciences (SESS)

 Today is the day where the School of Education & Social Sciences has been launched.

Finally, we had our own school.

Before this, we were known as DSSL (Department of Social Science n Law), now we are a school that comprises of TESL, ECE (early childhood) and also CG (Counseling & guidance)

All of de SESS students were invited to this launching event which was being held at Performing Arts Theater.

There were lecturers n students from PTPL Shah Alam as well from SBMP ECE..

It started of with the singing of MSU anthem, followed by Dato's speech and then all the performances.

It really touched my heart, and I remembered the times when I was a trainee teacher during primary school.

Yes, I have encountered that type of situation in school and believe me, you feel terharu when you see the most mischievous student in your class changed after few weeks of teaching them.

I almost cried watching this theater, seriously it really really touched my heart.

Still remembered I cried on de last day of school,coz I'm going to miss all my students n de teachers there..

I'm sure we TESL students will be great teachers in de future..

LET us go out and ROCK the world out there..

Let the students know that learning English is not as boring as they think.

Everything we have in live is a gift from God.

The Bible says that when we are faithful over what He's placed in our hands, no matter how small it may seem, He will bless and multiply it..

Yes, God has blessed me with so many things in life...

Learn to give thanks for what God has bless you with, even the smallest thing in life.

People always thinks, in order to be influential, you have to have a powerful position or to be rich..

NO, that's not it!

The truth about influence isn't all about a social position, title or degree.

God looks at your heart and your attitude.

God knows what we are doing and he will bless those who does good deed..

Be good to the people around you, treat them well.

I am really thankful to God my Abba Father for providing me with great friends in life.

They have been such a blessing to me, my church members, my college mates, and more.

He has also provided me with such great parents who are there to support me when I need them.

Without God, I would not be here..=)

I want to be a blessing to the people around me as well..

Sometimes, I may face lotsa challenges, but all these challenges come from God where He wants to test our faith..

The Lord has taught us to think positively not let negativity take over us...

Yes, at time, I felt like giving up because itz tough, but God is always there to guide me to the right path..

Until today, I won't let any negative thoughts take over my life..=) No matter what happens, I will always take things positively..
