Dean's List Award Ceremony

On 31st January 2012, I had 3 events to attend =).. so, basically I was very exhausted on that day..

~TESL Carnival in the morning (9am-5pm), Dean's List Ceremony (3.30pm-6pm), and Charity Dinner (7.30pm-10.30pm)~

That afternoon, me and my friends rushed to attend the Dean's List Ceremony..we were late actually...

(nasib baik la can enter, as someone knew me as the SRC member). We were rushing from our TESL Carnival.. fuhh..really penat.. There was 4 of us in my batch who went for the ceremony (me, Fiza, Adib and Alfonsia)

On 31st January, we had a big event in uni that is 'TESL Carnival'. It is also one of our major project for my Microteaching subject. That morning, my group met in uni at 8am to set up our booths and prepared all the activities and games to be used.

There were many students as well as lecturers who participated in this carnival and my booth too had many participants...Overall, everything went on smoothly and it was awesome!

I went for the theatre and it was awesome..I liked it very much..

Every final year degree students of TESL have to take a subject known as Theatre in TESL, where we have to do a production and invite our friends, lecturers,families,etc to come and watch this theatre...

Im back!! sorry for not updating my blog for quite some time..been busy with so many things..

Just finished my mid sem exam..n I've been sick for one week already.. (sobsss)

Well, last year Christmas was fun and awesome..although I did not went back my hometown, but I celebrated Christmas here with my church members..Thank you all for the presents..^__^

Since today's a holiday, my friends and I decided to 'lepak santai' together in Shah Alam town..

Firstly, we went Plaza Alam Sentral (PAS) to have lunch since Andy n Mie haven't had their breakfast n lunch..=)

We ate at KFC..and i had Krushers...owh I've been craving for that long time ago..

After that we went to sing Karaoke..=P

Each of us sang 5 songs, English n Malay songs...

we were like 'crazy' singing, etc etc..hahah!!

After Karaoke session we decided to 'lepak' at Tasik Shah Alam, and observe the wonderful creation of God..

This is an event, 1 Malaysia Dance held at Dataran Merdeka on the 3rd of December 2011.

At 6am, we started our journey from MSU to Dataran..

Reached there around 7am, there were already many people.

It was launced by Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen and Datin Seri Rosmah.

We are required to dance 9 types of dance..

~Malay, Chinese, Indian, Sewang (Orang Asli), Sabah, Sarawak, Siam, Truly Asia, and the cuti cuti Malaysia dance~

Well, I don't have the basic of dancing, so I juz follow the trainer there...

But it was fun!!

There were 16000 people from various IPTA, IPTS, etc, etc...

I've checked my last semester results...

Itz out!

The results was released on KLAS system on the 17th November.

On that day, early in the morning I received a message from my friend saying....

" RESULTS dah KUAR!! cepppppaaat checccckkkk!!"

I was like blur, still on my bed and I replied..

" Okayz...jap tak bangun lagi nie"

Then I got off from my bed, open my laptop and i started clicking on the website...

Wow!! I was like nervousssss......

Moments later....

Exam Results-????????

I was like thank God! (Dean's List...hee =P)

God really blessed me with such great results..

I'm now aiming for the President's List....

Harvest Generation's 5th Anniversary

Last Saturday, it was Harvest Gen's 5th Anniversary.....

This year the theme was "Smart Casual"...so it was very easy for all of us to know what to wear...

it was also 'Parents Appreciation Day' where we are required to pass our parents a trophy that has words written on it... like the most coolest dad, etc, etc

My parents were not there so I'll pass to them when I'm back..

we also had 2 presentations-singing and also sharing of testimony about what God had done in their lives...

it was super awesome and as usual we took millions of pics together...

Swimming with Persandarian

Yesterday, i went swimming with Faris, Andy n Mie...

we swam at d swimming pool in our apartment...known as Pangsapuri Persanda (thatz why we're known as Persandarians) hahah!!

When we were about to go down, it was raining...but we ignored the rain and all of us went on with our plan...

at first it was like "Andy, ko lar gi dulu....kite nie smua tak geti swim.."

-the water is so blueeeee-

then, I made the entrance into the swimming pool since no one wants to go in first...

The moment I stepped inside the water......it was Brrrrrr........so cold...

I shivered like crazy.....i was like "weh korang sejokkkk giler...mengiggil akue"

hmm indeed all of us dont know how to swim..haha

Faris was like "saya masuk air tak yah swim, boleh terapung jer..LOL"

Andy pulak jumps straight into the water and 'SPLASH'....all of us were like "WEHHHH"

we swam in the rain..it was fun as the water was crystal clear although it was super cold.

I juz walked around in the water splashing water at them..

Then Faris said "kite ni bukan mandi..tp berendam.....(laughs)"

ya...itz so true...we were juz playing in the water not swimming.

Andy was the one who semangat wanna take pictures...n he even wanted to take a video..

I was like NOOOOO!!....haha

Mie was just quiet....so all of us decided to juz chit chat with each other n 'berendam' in the water..

Around 1 hour later, all of us came out from the water and we met up for dinner at 8.30pm...

It was a fun day together~~

Today, we had cell in the morning at church and we combine with Brenda's cell.

Pastor continued about the topic 'Relationship'.. we will have 6 series to learn on this topic and I am excited to know more about it...

It is not only about BGR relationship, but also our relationship with God, family, friends, etc

"God wants us to have a healthy relationship and also to set boundaries in our relationship so that we wont feel hurt "

After cell, we had lunch at Nando's in Taipan (new outlet). all of us had great fellowship with each other and had a fun time capturing pictures too.

I worked with my partner which is my EXCO- Tengku Hazrin.

I have much bigger challenges and also responsibilities to hold on. Almost everyday my schedule is packed with many kinds of activities. All these really teaches me the meaning of discipline..

I have to divide my time well between my studies and also my involvement in SRC.

I will have to hold this post for 2 years.. and I hoped during these 2 years, I'm able to do something for the university and also to experience more knowledge and also experience in doing many activities.

Now as I'm one of the member in SRC, we are taught to be more mature, means no 'lawak bodoh', we have to be a good example to students...

Every Friday, we would meet together for cell.. I'm in S1 cell group n my cell leader is Priscilla.. =)

Cell group is a place where we would come together to have fellowship with one another and also to learn more about the Word of God.

We even had a fun time playing Snorta.

Prayer and Fasting

This week, Harvest Generation had church wide prayer and fasting.

We started on Sunday and it will end this Friday

All of us as one church fasted together, it was great to fast and I really want to experienced more of the Holy Spirit flowing in my life and even a greater level of maturity.

As we fasted, we also prayed for a few items especially the coming event-Easter.

Throughout this prayer and fasting week, I read God's word and I have a lot of quotes from the Bible which are real good.

As I continue to fast and pray, I believe I'll experience a deeper relationship with God..

Read Your Bible everyday n most importantly Put Your Trust in God n Pray! =)

On the 19th March 2011, it was a very meaningful day to my family..

It was my mum's bday...

That day, we had a trip to Singapore with 27 other church members from Muar.

We started our journey around 7.30am and reacher there around 10.45am.

Stopped at Tuas checkpoint and then we headed to our first destination that is Sentosa.

I enjoyed the trip because Singapore was my favourite destination. I went shopping to Vivo City, the biggest mall in Singapore..

bought some clothes and other stuffs as they were having sale..

-see the water behind? water gushing out from the top, there, you can sit in a 'sampan', a small bot that cost 5 dollars-

-Wow, skyscrapers!-

At night, we went back to the same place near Universal Studio, had dinner there and the food was awesome ~~

after that, we went to Candylicious, it was a shop that sells all kinds of chocolates and sweets..

It was superb... i've never seen so much chocolates n sweets before, and i bought plenty of chocolates n sweets to be given some to my friends..

Left Singapore at 9pm, went up the bus n dozed off...LOL

I really enjoyed myself and same goes to my parents..

Visit to Gardenia factory

Today I had a trip to the Gardenia factory organised by SCD-student career and development.

It was an awesome visit...

When we arrived there, I can smell the aroma of the delicious bread....hmmm yum yum

We get the chance to see the process on 'how bread was produced'

It was super super awesome!!!

First, we had a short video on the process of making bread for 20mins, then we get the chance to walk around to see the place....

wah, the factory is very clean and so high tech...

fresh breads are produced, there were soooo many...wow!!

while looking on the process of making bread, we were given more information on it.

after that we had light refreshment, we were given their own products, Twiggies ^^

before going back, they gave each and every one of us a bag full of bread-their own GARDENIA products.....can't wait 2 eat!=)

Health awareness

From 28th December to the 30th December, International Medical School in my uni organized a Health Awareness campaign.
There were so many activities like medical check up, blood donation, etc..

I decided to give my body a check to see whether I'm 100% healthy, n fit as a fiddle..LOL
well, everything went on well from the start until....
when it comes to check my blood....aaahhh....oh no!!

haha, actually i'm kinda afraid to look at blood, i don't know why.
when i was a kid, i'm not afraid to look at needles, blood, etc, but now....fuh...
they had to take blood samples from each of us for the glucose check n more..
i was like......i hold my friend's hand n i was trembling..haha

hmm this is my 1st time ever people took my blood =P

few minutes later, everything was done..fuh finally... i still felt some of the pain on my finger..
n the results of my medical check up- i am a HEALTHY person...yay!
hmm i guess next time i have to go 4 more medical check up to overcome my fear of seeing blood..haha

My Convocation

I had my convocation for my diploma today..
the ceremony started at 8.30am, as early as 7am, there were already so many people there.
We are the first batch to have our convocation in our own new MSU campus-the Chancellor's hall.
before this, they had it at PWTC..
I'm felt so blessed ^^..
well, everything we get is all brand new, new hall, new robe, etc.

Im back blogging again..missing my baby bloggie soo much..=)
So many things, events, etc had happened since i started my degree.
-Bachelor in Education (Hons) TESL-

Degree world? Hmmmm...
Ive been very very busy since I started classes last week.
First day of class I already got assignment. As Im a progression student, I suddenly felt kinda alien as we mix with other seniors..haha

Now i really missed my days of practicum.
Everything is so different now after we moved to the new campus.. subjects this sem are very tough...looks like I need to add extra effort to study..LOL

On the 30th November, MSU had an event where the Minister of Higher Education, Dato Seri Khaled Nordin came to launch the U-community event.. It was held in our own campus, a very grand event. I became one of the 'pengiring' for the VIP's.
There are a few Korean visitors from Korean Maritime Uni also joined this event, they also signed an agreement between my uni (MSU) and KMU.. wow! First time meeting korean people.

Orientation week

I had my orientation last week from the 25th -30th October 2010.
Hmm, to me, I don't really like orientation because it's so boring...^^
Only certain activities are fun..

For this orientation, itz quite boring too, but I really enjoyed being in my group and making new friends..
My group (Group 5) or also known as Tok Janggut group is one of the very outspoken and smiley group.
I was the group leader, and my group members are very sporting and they really cooperate well in every single activities/tasks given.

I had 12 members in my group
-me, Komal, Dianna, Qayum, Ihsan, Putri, Farhanah, Nalina, Khairi, Wan, Farhan, and Aizat.

2 of them are taking the same course as me.=)

Being one of the progression students there/ex-MSU diploma student, i already know about my uni.. so my group gets the most advantages...hehe
coz in any activities, like the treasure hunt that requires us to find certain departments, I'll be the one providing them with all the answers.

I love my group so much, Group 5 RockZ!!!

Im missing my students in SKS9 school.
Every time when i go online on facebook, my students will say
'Teacher, we miss you so much. When are you coming back to our school again?'

I'll say ' i miss you all to, but I'm now continuing my studies in college'

I really missed the times i had taught them during my 3 months internship in that school.
2 Baiduri was my favourite class because they are very obedient to me..

n this whole week I'm having orientation..

Fuh, tired...i want my holidays!!=)

Orientation 9am-5pm evryday, i just have plans for this whole week, wanna take a good sleep, but instead i had orieantation..ohhh, it's super boring ..haha

2day was the first day, the lecture teatre was super cool, itz cooler than the refrigerator, met many newbies@freshies..
i'm like d odd one there, coz im a progression student from diploma...^^

Hello, Im back!!
Im finally done with my 3 months internship...

Itz really great to be a teacher..
Im really thankful for all my teachers who really care and guided me during my internship..'
im missing them badly now, my students and all my teachers..

Being a teacher..hmmm, itz a big responsibility, itz not like studying, you just go to class and come back, study and study..^^
a teacher, have to plan lessons, materials@teaching aids to attract your students to learn the subject that you are teaching..

well, i love being a teacher and i have the passion to teach.
God had richly blessed me with so many things during my 3 months internship.

Dealing with our past

I heard this sermon in church the last few weeks ago, that is dealing with our past.
I liked this sermon also.
The past has power in our life, that is why we have to surrender our past.

Why we have to surrender our past?
1) Our past will always entie you, so we have to deal with it
2) Our past creates a comfort zone in our life-We have to move on and make changes which are often not comfortable
3) The past produces empty promises
4) Our past can also be a constant torture

How do we deal with our past?
1) Confront our past
-don't live in self denial, be honest with our past and don't be afraid to share
-the best way is to talk with someone who can help you

2)Cut off from the past
-must be distant away from the past
-our past can be cruel to us

3) Be accountable
- learn to talk to someone that can guide you

4)Cry out to God
-Judges 3:9 But when they cried out to the LORD, he raised up for them a deliverer, Othniel son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother, who saved them.
-God brings deliverence to those who cries out to Him

Hey people, im back blogging again..
here, i want 2 share testimonies bout what God had richly blessed me in my life

-Practicum-
I really want 2 thank God because He had provided me with a good school and it only takes 10 minutes 2 the school by car..

Before practicum, i was so worried which school i'll get, who's my supervisor n who's in d same school as me n most important-Transport..
I really needed transport to n fro from school....
basically i was very worried for my practicum.
My cell members, Pastor n d whole church prayed for me..and i believe with God all things are possible...

That day came, v r required 2 go d office n check which school v got. I went there at 9am...
rushed 2 d office, nervous..
when i was there, i saw d list pasted on d window....find my name.. n there it goes

d first thing I said was 'thank God because he had given me that school'
I liked that school, itz an elite school, n d school i superb, coz ive been 2 that school a few times, so I liked it very much..

Transport?
my senior was willing 2 fetch me to school although she is in another school..

coming back from school, sometimes Fiza n sometimes Kalai... thank U 2 both of u too..

Teachers in that school are very friendly..i like mixing with all of them,
so far students r so active n cute..
im able to capture their attention while learning English...itz a fun time teaching them.

Yea, n my supervisor is my mummy..hehe Miss Roges...

Indeed God is so great that he had richly blessed me in my life, my practicum and many more..

Prayer always work..n God is really working in each n every one's life!
Remember every time when we pray, we are moving the hands of God.=)

Life as a teacher ~~

i started my practicum on Monday, as i got afternoon session, so i have to be in school by 12.30pm

First day, have lotsa things to do-meet the headmistress, teachers, get to know places in the school and many more

I arrived in school around 12pm-that was so early..haha

went to the office and waited for Hidayah(another friend who got the same school)

I love the school..hehe

Joined the teachers for meeting and all...

After that met my 'guru pembimbing' to get the timetable and other stuffs.

I'll be teaching Std 1 n Std 2...huhu

Besides English, im also teaching music

Yesterday, all the cell groups combined together in church 2 watch the quarter finals of football.
all of us r required 2 wear jerseys-which country v support
i wore Spain jersey-my cell leader bought..hehe
Everyone really enjoyed themselves.
v ate many kinds of delicious foods-Jco, KFC, Domino pizzas, fried rice, roti canai, etc etc

The match started at 10pm..
it was between Netherlands n Brazil.
Brazil-1st half scored d 1st goal but in d end they lose....aahhh..i actually supported Brazil..~~
Netherlands-scored 2 goals in d 2nd half time...Gosh!

Those injured were Seng Hock's wife, Chew Chin Loi, 54, and their two other children, Jemima Wee, 17, and Josiah Wee, 13.

They have been sent to Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital in Kuantan for treatment.

The family, from Taman Mas Ria, Muar, was believed to have been on the way to Melaka in a Naza Ria MPV after having spent three days of the school holidays visiting a family friend in Kuantan when the accident occurred at 7.45am.

The empty trailer lorry was travelling from Segamat to Kuantan, he said, adding that the slightly injured driver had been detained.

Amran said Seng Hock, his mother-in-law and two of his children died on the spot while Jasinth died during treatment at the Muadzam Shah Hospital due to a severe head injury.

This was the second bad accident in almost a fortnight on Jalan Kuantan-Segamat. On June 7, six people were killed in an accident about 10km away from the accident spot. Bernama
